The Black Magic quick bluing / brush-on bluing is excellent for browning larger areas as well as for repairing damaged bluing. With the bluing, you can easily re-brown damaged bluing on long or short guns or even brown entire weapons. Another area of application is the blackening of small parts and tools. The cold process colors iron and various steels (up to 3% chromium content) deep black and thus creates a visually appealing impression. You do not need any previous knowledge to use the bluing. For the best result, you must ensure that the object to be browned is properly pre-treated. This means that dust and grease must be removed from the surface. You can then apply the browning agent easily and conveniently with a brush or sponge. A deep black color is visible immediately after application.
Warning: Does not work on stainless steel!
