This bath was created for decorative use, therefore it is a quick bath that generates a homogeneous deposition thickness of up to 0.2 microns.
Shine results are the same as traditional cyanide baths, but superior to mattes, which are much more intense.
This flash solution, like all the others in the ecological range, is completely cyanide-free, which makes them practical and safe to use and dispose of.
Characteristics:
Thickness up to 0.2 micron
Voltage: between 2 and 2.5 V, depending on the size of the part
Working temperature: 40 and 50ºC
Exposure time: 15 to 30 sec.
1:1 anode/cathode ratio
Anode type: stainless steel. V2
Agitation: moderate.
Bath autonomy: until its gold content is used up (0.8 gr)
Instructions for use:
Pour the contents of the bottle into the cup provided for the bath.
Firmly hold the piece to be toasted with copper wire, wash with ultrasound and rinse with plenty of running water.
* Do not touch the part with your hands.
Connect the machine clamp to the workpiece wire and immerse it in container #1 (container with stainless steel anode and electrolytic degreaser with a voltage of 4 to 5 V) for 30 to 45 seconds.
Rinse with running water.
Rinse with LEGOR neutralizer ref.BAN076 (50g / 1 liter)
Rinse with distilled water in glass nº 2.
Dip in 3N yellow gold bath in No. 4 for 15 to 30 sec.
Rinse with distilled water in glass nº 5.
Dry using the usual means.
