The blue zirconium alumina sanding discs use a quick fit in the central brass holes that reduces vibration during work. The flexible, long-lasting discs made from Zirconium last up to three times longer than conventional abrasives.
Zirconium discs work on all non-ferrous metals such as gold, silver and especially well with harder metals such as platinum, stainless steel and titanium. These blue discs have a resin backing for superior durability and aggressively cut and grind metals with a uniform file-like finish.
Note: They should be used with snap-on chucks to hold them.
