The new Foredom stand with suction inlet, bench pin, curved acrylic protective screen and adjustable armrests. It is the perfect complement to any workbench. It allows for the complete suction of precious metal microparticles and abrasives generated during drilling, grinding and polishing work. The padded supports provide greater comfort and ergonomics during use.
Vacuuming is extremely important during reworking processes for two essential reasons: waste control and occupational health.
-Waste control: it will recover the precious metal particles generated during the reworking process, which will result in the recovery of reworking waste, estimated at 4% of the total weight of the piece.
Occupational health: the inhalation of harmful particles contained in abrasives, such as aluminum oxides, tin, zinc and silicon carbide, is avoided. These components can cause serious respiratory problems when used without any type of protection, such as aspiration.
It is mounted on the workbench using the bracket. The suction socket is coupled to the swivel elbow which allows the tube to move in any direction.
The protective screen gives you a clear view of your work, preventing dust from being projected. The inside of the stand has an additional fixing mechanism for the grinder stand supplied with the set.
