LEGOR
Legor A182N Yellow Gold Ultracast Alloy (MET002)
Legor A182N Ultracast Alloy is a yellow gold jewelry alloy that allows alloying from 585 to 750 titers.
When alloyed with 585 gold, a greenish-yellow hue will be obtained.
Its excellent zinc-free formulation guarantees zero metal loss due to evaporation during processing, as well as being a success during enamelling processes.
The result is extremely high gloss parts and brilliant color after finishing. 750 gold combined with this alloy can be increased in hardness by heat treatment.
It maintains good fluidity during casting and it is worth noting its medium level of deoxidizers.
This makes it suitable for casting in vacuum systems: during melting, it is cleaned of dirt and leaves minimal residue in the crucible.
Characteristics:
Composition: Ag 64% Cu 36%
Grain refinement level: Medium
Deoxidation level: Minimum
Melting temperature: Solid 810 ºC / Liquid 845 ºC
Technical data for casting:

Legor Bath Neutralizer (BAN076)
The Legor Neutralizer is the latest innovation in the galvanic bathing process.
Its main advantages are efficiency, speed and ease of preparation (50 gr / l).
Only 30 seconds of treatment to neutralize the parts.
It avoids most problems caused by bath contamination, usually produced by the compounds of alkaline origin traditionally used in ultrasonic cleaning and in the electrolytic degreasing bath.
Failure to use the neutralizer or acidified water will increase the pH of the bath, which will result in total or partial deterioration of the galvanic bath we are using.
Characteristics:
Color: light yellow
Volume: Allows you to prepare 20 units of 1 liter
Dosage: 50 gr / liter
Working temperature: ambient
Voltage: No need
Usage mode:
Pour 50 grams per liter of compost into the glass provided for neutralization.
Firmly hold the piece to be neutralized with copper wire, wash with ultrasound or soap and water and rinse with plenty of distilled water.
* Do not touch the part with your hands · Soak in the neutralizing solution for 30 seconds at room temperature without tension.
Rinse with distilled water.
Treat the part with the normally used galvanic bath.
